Easiest way is steam heat. Most practical way is wet them thoroughly and peel them off, scrape what doesn't come off.

Peel off facing of paper. You'll need a spray bottle with warm soapy water, a sponge or a puddy knife. Spray the backing left on the wall with the water, let sit for a minute or two. Then take the puddy knife or the sponge and remove the paper backing. After you get it all off, it will take a little elbow grease, wash walls to remove the glue. Make sure you wash it good, because the glue will not let the paint adhere to the wall correctly. That should do it. Hope this helps you and good luck with your project.

The easiest way I have found is Ammonia in warm water. Just get a big bucket of warm, almost hot, ammonia water with a big sponge and wipe it down real good. You may need to score some stubborn paper, we just usually used a paint scraper on its corner.Protect your floor with a towel. After a brief rest repeat the same process. You will begin to notice the paper appearing to have "air bubbles" After several more wipeings the paper will start to repel from the wall. You may need to scrape some stubborn spots with a scraper Warm Ammonia water also is good for removing any residual wallpaper paste.

Honey: go to Home Depot and get yourself a small bottle of "Diff" wallpaper remover. We've used it for many years on the job. It takes wallpaper off in minutes without steaming or scraping.
Follow directions and use it on any glue that sticks to the wall.
