My friend and i hav been debating over who's the better band: QUEEN or MCR, and it makes me so mad that he disagrees--Queen is a thousand times better even tho they're from the 70's and 80's! MCR is ok i guess...but wat do u think? Who's better? why? :D

MCR is just a flash in the pan compared to the talent and longevity of QUEEN. What other band has accomplished so much? A movie soundtrack (Highlander), a musical (WE Will Rock You), and a song that reached number one twice (Bohemian Rhapsody 1975/76 and 1991/92.) What other band has all 4 members equally contributing songwriters? QUEEN out ranks MCR (and any other band) hands down! Freddie Mercury has been rated as one of the top ten singers of the 20th century! Brian May has been rated in the top 100 best guitarists. While I'm on a roll...John Deacon is one of the richest men in England (he wrote Another One Bites the Dust) and Roger Taylor not a only had a successful career with Queen, but also with the band Cross and as a solo act. Must I go on? QUEEN is responsible for some of the most memorable songs ever. Many of which are played at sporting events all over the world. Long live QUEEN!

I love Queen. & I'm sorry for all those MCR fans ( i like them) but they can never compete with Queen not in a million years. They are like legend. I think they are a thousand times better. Again i'm sorry MCR fans but that's just my opinion.

Queen is much better. 30 years later and I still hear Queen songs every day. I doubt MCR will hold up so well.

I have never heard anything by Queen so I cant really give you solid answer. I like MCR but who knows??? I just might like Queen more if I hear something by them.

I don't see any debate at all, of course it is Queen!!!! MCR has a long way to go to even think of being close!! Probably never will be!! My opinion!!!! Queen rocks!!!! Then and still now!!!!!!!

Ask this question again 10 years from now. Freddy Mercury died in 1992, and Queen is as cool today as they were then. Will you be able to say that about MCR then?

MCR hands down. Queen was great once upon a time. However, if Queen continued and changed, I would be curious what kind of music they would be doing now.

Queen,hands down.They are more established and loved by many generations. In my opinion, My Chemical Romance will never see the same success as Queen.
