The players also can use a type of pine tar that comes in a type of stick. Then all they have to do it put a few rubs on their bat handle, and its done.

Well if you've ever noticed they first put the pine tar on their helmets, and when batting they grab the section of their helmets with the pine tar, which then gets on their batting gloves and then on to their bats.

It comes from the pine tar rag that they use. It is like a bath towel and has resin on it. They rub up and down the bathandle for grip.

They just rub it on the whole handle. The reason you dont see it where they actually hold the bat is because it wears off because thats where their hands always are. I dont know for a fact but I would guess that they occasionally use the excess above where they hold their bat just told touch to get their batting gloves sticky.
