my future husband are going for our honeymoon in September. We are looking for inexpensive and neat things to do. We are also planning on staying in the grand canyon for two nights. What do/did you like while you were out there? Websites would be wonderful if available.

I had my honeymoon in Sedona and we stayed at The Sky Ranch Lodge near the airport. Do a search for the Sedona Chamber of Commerce. This is where I found all my information before going there. We did a lot of "vortex" hiking and exploring the canyons and creek. We did a lot of free stuff because we used all our money on the wedding. There are tons of stores to go into as well as art galleries. There is so much to look at and you don't have to spend a dime. The outlet shopping stores were awesome too!

I'm one of the few people that can't stand Sedona But it has two saving graces:
A local supermarket-Basha's- with a great selection of quality wines. The wine selection is way above the normal crud that one usually see's in supermarkets.
A great French restaurant called L'Auberge.
Sure you'll spend more money than you ever spent on a meal in your entire life But the food is great, the wine list is excellent and the staff is totally professional .
Plus the setting on Oak Creek is really nice.
Enjoy

The scenery is awesome. There is a very Nice restaurant there by the name of Spices and the food is good, too. There is much to depending on how much you want to spend. Use the web to book a room just do a search. My husband & I thought the prices in the canyon area were too high so we got a room outside the area. When you get there you will know what to do. Hope you get to meet " Ben Franklin" he's one of the bus drivers in the canyon.
Congrats on your marrage and enjoy your trip.
