Stop trying to convince anyone for now. When the baby is done have a DNA test done right away and this will prove to everyone who is the father.

Not true. Home pregnancy tests are wrong all the time! Just because it read negative, does not necessarily meant that she could not have conceived with her ex-husband. The most accurate method of determining conception is by having a blood test performed by her medical doctor.
Secondly, no offense, but are you crazy, stupid, or just desperate to prove your manhood by claiming to father a child with a woman who by your own words also has problems with remaining faithful herself? What in the world are you thinking??Why in the world would you want to scream to the world that you are the father to your girlfriend's alleged baby when you've only been separated from your wife for ONLY 2 months!! No offense, but you have just made your wife's day. She can now successfullly divorce you and get most of everything that you own and earn just because you are bragging to the world that you have been/ are unfaithful to the woman. I am not condoning your actions and behavior, but really, discretion can sometimes be a virtue.
Also, have you ever thought about if things do not work out between you and your girlfriend and you turn out to be the father? Then not only will you have a pissed off ex-wife receiving alimony with 1/2 your marital assets, but a pissed off ex-girlfriend receiving child support and possibly palimony (depending on the state and relationship). Most states are legally permitted to take up at least 65% of a person's earnings for child support (states vary). I would highly recommend you think about your situation before you act/speak any further.
Anyway, why should you care if people think you are/are not the father? Let's reflect a moment if we may. You've skipped out on your wife and allegedly got another girl (who is not your wife) "knocked up" so obviously you haven't cared what other people have thought about you to this point, so why start now? It is plain to see that it is just machoism dictating your thoughts

Wait for the DNA test before you jump in and accept responsibility. The date you are giving me don't add up, shes one week pregnant by those calculations, and she hasn't missed one period yet, so why do a pregnancy test? Something doesn't add up here. I'm not even sure the most sensitive of tests would be sure here. I got a feeling you are getting played.

you will have to wait till the baby is born and have a paternity test done. that's the best way. pregnancy tests aren't always reliable. i took 3 of them all turned out negative then had the blood work done and it was positive a week later. i was already 2 months along. have her go to the dr and have the blood work done just to make sure she is.

sorry hun but she is lying cause a ept test take 6-8 weeks before you can even know is you are pregnant so she is lying to you she was with her husband so I suggest that the minute that baby comes out that you get a DNA before you start the child support papers.

John, it probably is your child, but protect yourself with a DNA to make sure. This should not bother her all. Those test aren't that reliable, so please make sure you do this testing once the child is born. You won't convince anyone the child is your until the test comes back that he or she is.

if you're sure then that's all that matters- you wont be able to convince anyone else unless you have tests done, and is what other ppl think important?
i will say the timeline does sound fishy but I'm chalking it up to the abbreviated nature of your description.
