Since the only questions you ask was "with 26 letter how far can you go", my response is we have been 14 billion miles from earth.
Those 26 letters (and the numbers 0-9) have given us the technology to build incredible telescopes and instruments to detect the very beginning (well almost) of the universe, the most beautiful and awe-inspiring objects in space from the very small to the immensely huge.
Those 26 letters and the numbers 0-9 have enabled us to build machines to make all those "new" things you buy.
And while cavemen "invented" tools and products, they were the distant ancestors of our modern world.
We wouldn't be where we are without the things our ancient predecessors created, but we took what they created and built on their foundation.
