I know it's, old and all, but I was a little curious on what people thought. Why was Al Gore not a good choice/ or maybe even a not a bad choice?

Al gore was a bad pick because his IQ is just a few points higher than dryer lint. Since the American public doesn't like that the elected they dryer lint.

Al Gore was not a good choice because people are, for the most part, idiots, and would rather vote for someone they'd rather have a beer with than someone they think could run the country better.

Al Gore was not a bad choice because, hey, he did get the most votes.

Because he can't fly fighter jets and deal with reality, electoral votes are what count, this is not a popularity contest.

I know this is somewhat old news now, but as I understand it, he wasn't such a bad pick... He won, after all.
