It would certainly help trim City and County budgets if they could just hire a Christian Scientist or two to "pray for it to get better" every time there was a murder, a burglary, a traffic accident or a house ablaze, instead of having to spend all that money on fire engines, ambulances, hospitals & police!

Seems to me that there is at least some misunderstanding here about what Christian Science entails. Me, I'm not a Christian Science (Mary Baker Eddy) follower (although oddly enough, I consider myself a Christian scientist), but you all might want to look into the teachings thereof before making snide remarks about it. Once he knows what the beliefs are, of course, it's every man's God-given right to make all the rude and ignorant remarks he wishes.
