Dr. Dre is a better producer than rapper. His friends like Emiem tried to get him on a "Detox" project but that failed. But Dre is still making beats for rappers like Ice Cube and Snoop. He's 41 and he's still in the game.

Ya he keeps trying to retire but his fans wont let him so we cant really complain that he doesn't make alot of albums because the dude has retired from rapping twice and yet he keeps doing it for his fans. We know this because he is already one of the richest rap artist ever with more money then Eminem and 50 cent combined.
He still producing but likes to find someone different from everybody else (eg. Eminem) and hes made all of his rappers millionaires so they usually get there own record company.
But ya hes coming out with anouther album Detox (due to the prasure of fans and fellow artists) and its due to come out September 2007. Unlike his last album 2001 (he made it so people would stop saying that hes lost his touch). hes making this one just for fun. but if you cant wait for Detox you could always get his latest mix tapes "Dretox" and "Pretox".

you can download it now if you want, im not sure when its released in stores
but yeah, he still produces alot of stuff

he is counting his money in his fortress, being that he was an original founding member of N.W.A, and then his solo multi multi platinum albums, then he found Eminem, after he found and built Snoops career and albums, then he found and built 50 cents career. so, yea, he's in his fortress looking for places to put his money, no more room under mattress or even in banks.
