casting for "Braveheart"> I am a trained actor, Security was called they took my picture mentioned something about stalking and 86'd me off the lot "forever". idin't know what was going on at the time

I'm thinking I should sue them for losses. It's a huge suit becuase not only the large amount of losses for that opportunties but others tha may have rsulted from that one.

It's crrazy, alot of my freinds are working down there, But I refuse to kiss *** the way that they do, though theya ct like they aren't.

My opportunites are limited now that I' m 46, and I didn't realize what a losss it ws until recently. Realistic, supportive suggestions please. ..

First of all "Braveheart" was in casting in the mid nineties, which is ten years ago, so you definitely waited to long to try to clear your name-- whether that was with a lawsuit or a simple letter to the head of security at the studio. Guaranteed the turnover rate for security guards is quicker than that and the people on the lot now won't have any idea what you're talking about.

Second of all, I used to work at NBC, and the only time security took pictures of people and kicked them out were when those people were proving to be threats. For example, a woman came to a taping of "Ellen" and tried to sneak into the offices, claiming she worked for the show. They took her driver's license info and kicked her out and kept a photo of her in their booth in case she ever tried to come back. People wander around studio lots all the time-- people who work there, people who are interviewing, auditioning, visiting their friends/family for lunch, etc, and security won't just go up to someone without cause.

I don't know what kind of losses you could have. It's not like you were cast in the film and lost your role because of something a security guard said or did. You were only HOPING to have a role. If you file a lawsuit you'll just be wasting your time, energy, and money. Paramount has a ridiculous amount of resources at its disposal, including sharks for lawyers.
