Genetically, you're biracal, but I think it's whichever race you identify with more. I had a friend growing up who was half Puerto Rican and half black, but since his dad (who was black) wasn't a part of his life, he considered himself Puerto Rican.

Society will classify you as Black, especially if Black features are more prominent.

As far as what that makes you, well, technically you are bi-racial. I've seen go down one way and one way only. USUALLY the side you are most comfortable with, you will claim as your race. So. let's say you are more comfortable around Blacks or you were raised by Blacks, well, you'll probably consider yourself Black, but know that you are mixed too.

I've seen it happen the other way too, if you are more comfortable with the Puerto Rican side, you will consider yourself a puerto rican, nonetheless a Black Puerto Rican, so...

you're African-American. Your mom is stupid, you're in simple terms mixed whilst the two one in each of your mom and dad are different races etc. in simple terms given which you're a mixture of two different cultures would not make you mixed. you're nevertheless Black

Depends on what kind of Puerto Rican your dad is; if he's black/"mulatto" then you're black. Puerto Rican is an ethnicity not a race

You are biracial. If you are mixed, you have some of both ethnic groups. You are blessed to have such a beautiful combination. :) :) I am also biracial, Black, White and Native American, but I have always chosen African American as my race.

No...You would be mixed with puerto rican and black. Mixed people DO NOT have to choose one or the other. They are both.

if you like in the US, american, peurto rico , peouto rican.
It makes you 1/2 black and 1/2 peurto rican. Biracial.
But, i know what yo mean, i think you'd be considered more black.

You are half of each. You are a beautiful blend, and you are unique.

^^ I am half-Hispanic and half-white, and I love it. You should be proud, and not worry what 'race' you are most, because you aren't just one...you are both!
