I'd say there was a lot of truth to it. Too many baby boomers were spoiled rotten and selfish, and that's not a combination that spells good parenting.

I would say that mass generalization of an entire generation is a very ignorant act...I say this as a 48 yr old Baby Boomer.

each generation should be shocked and appalled by the next that is how we know that life is evolving. But there are a lot of other factors like birth control, drug revolution, and no other generation has lived in the age of information and technology. I think that when people start with the whole this generation sucks crap it's because they long to hold on to a world that no longer exist. Every environment is different.

Well, I'd say my parents were baby boomers and I went to college and I have a very decent job making very good money. I pay my taxes, I take care of myself, and I give back to the community. So, I'd have to say that is a line of B.S. and I wouldn't buy it.

That every generation has it's own problems. And if one person had the answer on the best way to raise children then they would have a national holiday named after them and that hasn't happened in any generation.

Every generation thinks that their generation is the best and that everybody else's generation sucks. It's human nature. Anyway, no matter what insults this person flings at you, you can at least say that you don't have diarrhea of the mouth like they do! Their parents must not have taught them how to hold their tongue.

laughting and turning awat at the same time seems to make a point to me.
Perhaps Laughting and telling them thay should be on a game show. Mite be good.
The point is not to let them get under your skin.

Remind them that your generation is going to run the country some day and tell them that their generation already screwed that up.

"I'm glad to see you're taking responsibility. But, at some point, we have to forgive our parents, pick up the pieces, and make it work. Are you done blaming people? What are you doing to make the world a better place?"
