I'm currently very unhappy working fro my dad and living at home after travelling overseas, no idea how i ended up here as i had big plans for my life, i cannot continue in this direction, i have the option to move interstate with a girlfriend, go back overseas ot the uk to use up my visa or stay in melbourne, try and get a new job and move out.........none of them are going to make me happy again as i have completely stuffed my life and have been a horrible person, i dont want to be like this anymore, if i do leave i'm pretty much leaving my family and friends and not sure what i will come back to, but i cannot stay so unhappy like htis either......any ideas for me?

You need to "turn over a new leaf". I would stay in your town, move to your own place, and get a different job. Explain to your parents that you are ready to move on and build your own life. If they give you lots of trouble over it, then the second best option is to move somewhere else and build a new life there. You can always come home for visits, you know.

Do what you need to make you a better person with a happy life. No one can fault you for that.

Move in with me. I'm fun, like Aussies and there is a lot to do in Seattle.
