I hold a Masters Level in Reiki. My basic rule of thumb is: NEVER practice an alternative form of healing that you haven't been trained in.
I also have fibromyalgia and know the moment someone is trying something that they do not have the training or talent to do.
Reflexology, when practiced by a person with training and natural talent, is like magic. The people who are truly gifted seem to know exactly which spot to attend to without even being told. Their gifts are so fine-tuned that one Reflexologist I went to on St. Lucia urged me to go see my doctor when I returned home. It took a while but I was finally diagnosed with Lyme Disease.

I am an alternative medicinal therapist and this includes reflexology. if you don't know the answer to that you are not a qualified reflexology and you shouldn't attempt to practise this it can be very dangerous if you don't know what you are doing, Take a course and get your diploma at least you will understand anatomy and the basics of this therapy. The answer is yes you can do but you have to know what other organs you are affecting by doing so. The points on the feet also connect to every area inside the body including the brain, so get some training first. There's a lot more to this than just rubbing the feet. The hands and head are also the same as reflexology

Hi, Are you actually qualified to do reflexology? It just appears to me that you are not as this is something you would of been told in your studies of learning.
Reflexology can treat alsorts of problems such as:-
Allergies
Arthritis
Fibromyalgia
PMS/Menopause
Insomnia
Neck/Back Pain
Constipation/Diarrhea
Diabetes/Hyperglycemia
High/Low Blood Pressure
Fertility
Headaches/Migraine
Depression
Digestive Problems
Prostrate Problems
Edema
Anemia
Dizziness/Tiredness
Colds/Sinusitis
Thyroid Disorders
Treating sensitive areas should be done gently and the client should remain calm and painfree throughout. If your causing pain or an uncomfortable feeling then your doing this too hard and incorrect.

In reflexology, blood circulation is enhanced but doesn't guarantee to heal diseases. It simply fix some flaws in blood circulation.

Are you qualified to do this because you should know. You need to massage a bit more gently and this usually means a spot relating to part of the patients body that has problems, e.g. bad back pressure zone, bowls etc.
