I already went to the lady in the bottom of pokecenter and all that stuff, but on my pal pad it still doesn't tell me. it says I have to have to get to a WFC or something like that.

Once you get your Pal Pad, go to it and choose '(your name) Code and it'll be displayed, copy it down. To add a friend just go to the top and register friends code.
To get wi-fi, you need to get it activated, as long as you have a USB wireless or a wireless router in your computer/at your house you'll be fine. Otherwise you'll need to activate it at a place with wi-fi connection like colleges/schools/mcdonalds, libarys etc.

You have to have a router available, because without one your friends code is useless, you can't contact anybody and they can't contact you. Once you get a wireless or wired (Wireless is much easier) hooked up then you will find the option on the pal pad to see your friends code.

You have to use Wi-Fi in jubilife at least 1 time
