i need some instructions on a 8' intex pool filter. I can't findmine. Where do I get them online?

What instructions do you need? The top hose from the filter goes to the right hand side outlet from the pool. The bottom hose goes to the left hand side outlet on the pool.

Turn the pump off and elevate it above the level of the water line to remove the top. Pull the cartridge out, rinse it thoroughly in strongly running water (spray hose attachment), soak in a 5 gallon bucket of water with 1/4 cup of bleach. Let this sit for at least 3 hours. Rinse the cartridge again and put it back in the filter. Lower the filter below the water line and loosen the bleeder cap on the top of the filter until water comes out. Close this and then turn the pump back on.

It takes a Type A cartridge and you can reuse the cartridges if you do the rinsing/cleaning on a rotation. Just dry out the cleaned cartridge and put it in the filter when you need to change it.
