When someone says 'hope this helps' or does a smiley face?

cuz
1- I know they are tryin to help me
2- if they put smiley faces it shows that they feel like answerin and it's polite ... :P thats y i always put smileys :) also cuz I am smilin at the time :P

but mostly I give best answer to people who give me the answer in detail and make me understand it well

Well, it could depend on the answer and whether or not it was good. If it was a really jerky answer and said 'hope this helps', I would not give the best answer. Same with the smiley.
On the other hand, if it was a good answer and said 'hope this helps' or did a smiley, then I would be more inclined to choose it as best.
I think I might like 'hope this helps' better because the smiley doesn't really....I don't know, 'DO' it as much and doesn't seem as good as the 'hope this helps' phrase.
Anyway, I hope this wasn't too long, and 'hope this helps!'

It doesn't really matter to me, just when there is a good answer, sometimes someone leaves "Hope this helps" and a smiley face, i guess it just depends on whether the answer is good or not :)

No. The only thing it does for me is show they're not trying to be a jerk. I give the best answer to someone who actually gave a helpful answer, or if they were funny
