23 of my friends and I went to moundsville prison and stayed from midnight till 6 A.m. The first hour was spent with the guide taking us around the prison, and telling us all of the people who were murdered there, and where. the next 5 hours we wandered around the prison looking for ghost's. none of us saw a thing, it was very disappointing. i just wanted to see if anyone has had an experience with a haunting, or anything paranormal.

they broke us up into groups of three. they would not let us go alone, in case someone was to fall and get hurt.

oooo kreepy! i wouldnt go alone either! um wow wel one time i lived in this house and apparently this women had been murdered and then a year after that someone moved in and she was murdered and i didnt wanna be next ! so i moved out! and ive seen weird things happen but i have never seen a lady.. O at alchatraz ( in sanfransisco) its SO spooky at night! good luck hope you dont get freaked out lol

Wow, 23 friends!?!?? Would have been a better experience if you only brought 5 max. . .how are you suppose to get scared with that many people. . .anyways, I went to a haunted house but did not experience anything cuz I didn't sleep over

If you went by yourself, you probably would have seen something. The guide tried his best to scare you, but the size of the group was enough to surface skeptism, which is the bane of ghost pushers. In reality, there are no ghosts, but if we're in a heightened emotional state, we'll start interpretting things around us as dangerous. It is part of our fight or flight response.

Yes I've woken to see a dead girl laying next to me. She didn't just go away either. She laid there looking forward into nothing. I was old enough to not scream and yell. She eventually vanished. That caused me to sleep with a night light. I still after nearly 5 years. Laugh if you want. But then I have severe mental problems, but I don't think it was a hallucination.

Maybe you should have split up into groups to have seen any real activity from the spooks. Sounds like it would've been interesting. I have had a little girl grab my wrist bout 3 o'clock in the morning and when i awoke she had ran into another room laughing. I have had another slam the back of the couch with such force that it set me straight up(was leaning back on it) My sister sees them, i can't see them but i sure can hear them and feel them. much more but to tired to continue.
