They both have due dates in late July. Obviously I can't be in two places at once. Can I talk my girlfriend (or wife for that matter) to induce a little earlier? I don't want to miss out on either birth, but I really don't want either of them to know about each other either.

As an OB nurse for 21 years I've heard of so many ways but when you do evidenced based practice and see what really works it's a controlled induction with meds of course works the best, but in literature some things she and you can do to stimulate up contractions are #1 sex your sperm contains prostaglandins that soften up the cervix and help ripen it for labor her orgasm will stimulate uterine contraction doesn't matter what position I've read all this bull about doggy style etc the most important thing is it comfortable for her as she needs the orgasm. During sex also concentrate on nipple stimulation as this releases oxytocin and important hormone that causes contractions in fact this is what is used in hospitals to induce a synthetic hormone pitocin same thing. walking does nothing but exhaust the mom so she is wiped out at time of labor and can barely make it also when exhausted is more irritable and less able to handle the discomfort of labor.Food has nothing to do with the hormones and chemical reaction that occurs in the body to bring about labor. Then there's the people who will tell you to take castor oil this is dangerous as it causes severe diaharrea and dehydrates Mom because of the dehydration she will have contractions but once hydrated will go away the dehydration causes decreased blood flow to baby and stress that leads to baby passing it's first bowel movement called meconium and stains the fluid it has the consistancy of molassas and when baby is delivered can inhale this leading to aspiration / illness and death if not handled properly mostly give her TLC and remember most first tme moms 80% deliver at 40 weeks 6 days.. best of luck

Well, just so you know, they both will eventually dump you and rightfully so. They both can do better, it is just a matter of time before they realize it.

Do not even TRY to convince either of them to induce labour. You are a dead duck anyway...it is just a matter of time...probably you will also be deadbeat, right?

Who matters in this situation, really, is the children. Both have a right to stay in their mother's womb until they are fully developed and born naturally. Just to give you some undeserved relief, it is unlikely they will be born at exactly the same time anyway.

You have a committment to your wife and to your wife only. She's the one you married, the one you promised "forever" to and the one you need to be there for. It's unfortuante that both women have due dates at the same time, but the fact that you are having a child with a woman besides your wife was a choice you made. It's very unfair and selfish to ask either to make your life easier. You chose to be with two women, so now it's time to take the consequences for your choices.
That's my opinion. Use it how you will.

Yes, it is immoral. You choose to have an affair and have another baby with another woman...now deal with the consequences of your actions....And what about your children? Will they attend the same school? Grow up close to each other? Don't you think that their paths might cross one day? Don't they deserve the right to know that they have siblings out there? You need to do some soul searching...and decide what is the best thing to do for all involved, and not just your little part!

"Is it immoral to convince my girlfriend to induce labor, since the wife is also pregnant?"

Its immoral to be cheating on the Mrs. Just so you know, it doesn't matter if you have one of them induce labor, they will find out about it. You can't keep it secret, especially with a child. So I wish I could be there when they find out and boot your bottom out of the house.

Have you ever seen the movie micky and maude? in the end they all get caught. he got caught because both women went in to labor at the same time. be a man and step up to what you have done. you are about to devastate the life of the person you promised to love, cherish andhonor. WHEN she finds out about your other life, you will lose out on watching you child grow up. you want to know what is immoral. the way you are treating the woman you claimed to have loved enough to marry. get some balls, confess and be prepared to live alone. does your girlfriend know about your wife?

You need to decide who you want to be with. And yes its wrong to induce a little early.Sometimes the baby needs all the time it can get to develop right.I know .I almost had to have my baby early and they said if I did he wouldn't have lived. So decide who you want and tell the truth.I am so tired of all the cheating people are doing these days to there spouse. It's really hard on the spouse.Remember that.My husband cheated on me and i ended up going to the hospital. So just tell the truth

wow. you dont know anything. if they end up at the same hospital at the same time they will find out. and the only way the doctors will induce labor is if there is a complication during birth...

first if this is true the doctor decides when to induce not the parents its not up to you moron its whats best for the baby.
second how do you intend on supporting and spending time with either child? cause i know if my husband was paying for another child i would know... and what happens if your g/f takes you to court for child support or even better she goes on welfare and they come after your butt lol that would be so great.... btw did i mention that you are a moron???
