If it is the same speed and type yes.. if the type is the same and the speeds different might cause issues or run slower. Sell it on ebay then and buy the same RAM like the vista computer

if slots are the same on the ram you have and the slots on the vista motherboard then put them in the only thing that can happen is you get a small voltage reduction and mosy of the time you won,t even realise. don,t force the sticks of ram to go in either they fit or they don,t. when fitted check out system information and it will tell you what ram it reading if happy fine. if reading wrong but is showing a certain amount of ram but you have lost some you know it,s not quite right!!

Check your manual for your new mainboard if it supports that type of RAM.

If yes, you should be able to.

yes if it fits that type of computer. like desktops and notebooks are for sure different sizes. be sure it fits. it has nothing to do with the operating system.
