I want to delete the Operating system and everything on the hard-drive and start fresh. How do I do this!!

You want to delete the entire hard drive?

Ooookay, don't undstand that one, but here goes.

Boot off of your install disk.

Open disk utility.
Click on your hard drive in the list on the left.
Click on "Erase"
Volume Format: Mac OS Extended
Name it.
Erase.

Reinstall the OS from the discs.

u put in the osx install disc 1 and press the option key on startup and choose the install disc and follw the instructions, it will install a fresh copy of OS X
