I have always loved the baby name Nevaeh. But I've had a few people tell me it sounds like the name for a colored baby. What do you think?

Heaven is for everyone, heaven sees no color, sex, or race. Heaven is only love in the highest form. Don't let people put a racist profile to heaven spelled back words. It is a beautiful name and has a beautiful origin. Go with your instincts!

And "colored" Where are you from?

I hate that name! It sounds like a stupid girl's name. It doesnt like the name of a colored baby, race has no factor in this! It is just all around a bad name. Im sorry, but it just is!

Nevaeh is heaven spelled backwards.
Great name and colored is a term for 1950 or 1960.
Use African American.

Colored? OMG, how old are you, 87???

Nevaeh is a lovely name, but trust me, it will get grossly mispronounced to the point where the child wishes you'd named her something boring and gotten it over with.

The name is okay, I just don't like the "heaven spelled backwards" spelling. I would much rather see it spelled Niveah or Nevaye. Easier to spell, pronounce, and it is much prettier. Oh, and it's not a "colored baby" name, nor does it sound like one. You can name your baby whatever you want, regardless of race.

I'm not crazy about the name. My opinion of it has nothing to do with race I just don't like the spelling or pronunciation.
