Ok, My Ex-Friend emily, She goes to the mall all the time..Well, she's 240+ lbs...and she's 13.well what gets on my nerves is there are TONS of adorable plus size stores at our mall but no, she goes to Aeropostale and since she cant fit into the girl sizes she gets guy clothes just so she can say that she is a prep.
Pathetic? Yes.

What's ur opinion?

&& yeah, i'll admit im not the smallest person, i wear a XL @ american eagle (and no i dont roll outta it lol) but really, why do that? The reason she's not my friend anymore is cuz we got into a huge fight. But, it's not just guy clothes she wears-her hair looks like a guy too!!! and she acts like one.

*Stares* first of it all... what do you care what she wears or buys? let her freaking dress like a gargoyle, dam... second of it all... if you were her... if you were 240+ pounds would you go to some overweight store when you are used to Aeropostale, or whatever the hell? dam stop caring... if she was your ex friend then let her alone... dam...

Haha! That reminds me of my ex-BFF Melissa she's about 250 lbs too. Only shesworse because even though the clothes don't fit her she still buys them and tries to squese into them. She's a XXL and she buys a large in hollister and it's so tight that you can see every ounce of cellulite. It's so nasty. She's so pathetic though she only wears those clothes too inpress the popular people who wouldn't be her friend if she was the last person on earth. But it's even more pathetic because she's 17 and you would think that she would grow up just a little. Anyways I feel your pain. Good luck!!!

Pathetic? No.
What difference does it make if she wears boy or girl sizes? Why do you care where she buys her clothes?
How do you know that the plus size stores have adorable stock, let alone preppy stock?
There must be something else bothering you - when you find out what it is, let us know.

yeah, thats not okay. If you have to wear guys clothes just to be a "prep", its so not worth it. A lot of plus size stores sell the exact same clothes as other stores, just in bigger sizes.

wow, thats really sad. i don't know why she's now your ex-friend, but if its just because of the way she dresses, maybe you could go to the mall with her and encourage her to shop at the plus sized stores. try to be patient. maybe she doesn't realize that guy clothes don't look good on any girl, no matter her size.

most definatly! i would send her a nice anomanise letter saying try the cute stores instead of guy clothes so you can look cute. you dont always have to have name brand this to be a prep. and dont talk about her with other people. it will ruine your reputation and people will turn there back on you like you did to emily. im not trying to be mean sware.... just the truth . ive seen it happen alot!

ugh why would she wear guy clothes?
and why would she want to say she's a prep? what does that even mean?
She should either go to the +size stores or lose weight so she can fit into those overpriced clothes.

Your ex-friend sounds like a wannabe loser. Good job for ditching her. I know people like that those clothes are made for skinny people not fat cows. It ALMOST makes me not want to shop there...almost.

P.S. what would happen if a guy at your school showed up wearing the same shirt on the same day? or has it happened before? haha!

It sounds like you guys had an argument and you're a little upset with her.

Think about it, sometimes people want to fit in. You're absolutely right she should accept herself for who she is...but then again have you thought about respecting her choice to wear whatever she likes?

Maybe you should give her a call, or send her an e-mail, and try to patch things up.

Peace! Hope it all goes well!
