My friend please go get some help. You sound depressed, the good news is it can be treated. Most of the time its just a chemical imballance thats all fix that and your feeling better. But please dont do anything rash. You may not think it matters but it does. I beg you go talk with someone.

Yes. You definitely are in need of professional help. See your physician as soon as possible. Often, depression is caused by a chemical imbalance in the brain. It can be managed with anti-depressant medication, such as Prozak, Zoloft, etc.
When you find yourself thinking about "offing" yourself, counter that thought with: "nope. Suicide is not an option. I have to figure out a different way to deal with the challenges that I am being faced with."
When you "feel" hopeless, that doesn't mean that you "are" hopeless. It would be a cowardly act to give up on life, rather than face it and deal with it. Life isn't easy. Why check out before learning to master it ? Don't sit around and suffer and ignore it. Your life is worth more than that.

It sounds to me like you need someone to talk to. Trust me in 10 years you will look back and remember these times as great. I was always depressed while in High School and College and now I think of all the things I use to do back then. I can't believe I could have ever been depressed those were the best years of my life. There are so many ways to change your life and dying only takes away these options. You need to work at finding happiness. If you don't like your job, find another one. If you don't like where you are on your life, find yourself somewhere else. Take a class, move, do something.

life is too precious to give up. I won't turn loose of it one second before it is forced from me.
just because the masses appear to be in a meaningless existence, doesn't mean you have to be. you need something to do that deeply interests you. if you want meaning, give up your routine job and volunteer for the peace corp. you might live in some rough conditions that may make you long for the routine of working and shopping and going home to a nice clean house. then again, you may love the adventure, the change, the unfamiliarity, and the sacrifice.
It could be depression you are in. Or it could be something else. A lot of deep thinkers are not satisfied with the ordinary. You could be one of those people who needs a more compelling purpose.

You need some excitement in your life.
Break the routine a little. Be adventurous. Take some time off work and go and do something really exciting. Take a holiday and go scuba diving, or take a break to go rock climbing.
Life is only what you make it. If you stick to the same routine nothing will ever change.
Get out there, live your life and make it change!

To be honest with you, I think like that everyday too. I don't think I'd want to "off" myself however, I just don't see it as a good death. I would like to end doing something virtuous, everything seems so mundane and repetitive. I don't think you're depressed, I think we simply think differently. Ah well, don't kill yourself though, there's some other way you could go that would mean a lot more, most people probably wouldn't understand what I mean, but perhaps you do.

This may be depression, but here is a few tips.
Meet 2 different Psychiatrists and listen to there answers.
Then try to find out why you are thinking of committing suicide.
Stop watching horror, bloody, gun usage, alcoholic, or murdering/suicidal movies or shows.
Do things you enjoy a lot.
Think of good thoughts through out the day.
Stay focused and say to yourself I am very important.

Your just going through what every American goes through every now and then. Life seems to suck, bills get harder and harder to pay, we hate our jobs, the Government sucks(in my opinion anyway). But I always keep trying to be optimistic. Life is tough unless your an CEO that gives yourself a $100,000 raise every year while everyone else suffers. Yeah, life gets depressing but you get through it.
Although I have to say suicidal thoughts 5x a day is a little extreme. You need to find something good in life like Friends, family etc. to get you through tough times. Maybe speak to your DR. but DONT let them put you on Paxil!!!
Good Luck!

I am sorry you are sad. I don't know what to say exactly....if you can afford a therapist it might help. I used to feel that way when I was younger, but have learned to look for the good in people and the world. Best wishes.
