Very hard to respond with only that info.
If the keyboard works on a different computer then you might need to install the drivers for it. If is PS2 (the end is probably purple and round) Make sure you are plugin it in where the keyboard goes and not where the mouse goes (they both fit)
If keyboard does not work on a different computer or you don't have a different computer check to see if the cord is good and it has all the pins straight at the end.

Try your keyboard on your friends computer. If it doesn't work there, your keyboard is toast. If it does work there, your usb controllers or ps/2 slot (where you plug in your keyboard) are toast.

If it's a USB (flat connector) then you might try turning the machine off. Plugging into another USB slot. Turning machine on.

If it's PS/2 (round connector) and your keyboard is good, then you have a bad PS/2 slot. Try buying a $5 adapter that will adapt the round connector to the flat one.

Hi. The keyboard may have been re-mapped. Do any keys work? Is the keyboard made for the region you are in (like UK boards differ from US boards)? Last resort (or maybe first!) is to return it.
