Megan, don't you research your subject in the LEAST anymore?

Wikipedia says, and I quote:

"Orgone energy is a term coined by physician and psychoanalyst Wilhelm Reich for the "universal life energy" that he claimed to have discovered in published experiments in the late 1930s. Reich claimed that orgone energy was a "life energy" which filled all space, was blue in color, and that certain forms of illness were the consequence of depletion or blockages of the energy within the body. These claims were and are regarded as "nonsense" and pseudoscience by scientists, journalists and non-scientists during and after Reich's lifetime. Scientific professionals have in more recent years added their voice to dismissing Reich's ideas. When alive, Reich was hotly attacked by his critics, triggering a formal investigation by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Following a court case, in which materials were found to be improperly advertised, his books and scientific journals on the subject were collected and burned by the FDA (in 1956 and 1960)."

NONSENSE and PSEUDOSCIENCE

HIS BOOKS AND SCIENTIFIC JOURNALS WERE COLLECTED AND BURNED BY THE FOOD AND DRUG ADMINISTRATION IN 1956 and 1960.

That's 45 to 50 years ago.

Well, the two prototypes that I saw seemed to work okay. One of the techies that demonstrated the second unit told me that the main problem they had experienced so far was disintegration of the nozzle after short usage periods. So until they get that problem worked out, I don't think we will see any commercial models on the market.

There are also those who will say that Reich was the victim of a witch-hunt during the McCarthy investigations. He was a Communist, you see, and there are those who think the Government supressed his research because it showed some falseness in the bases of modern Medicine. THEY BURNED HIS BOOKS AND RESEARCH PAPERS !!!!???
