I have already beaten the Elite Four and obtained the National Dex. I've heard you can find it in the Safari Game - if that's the case, then which area can I find it in?

There are three ways to get a Shroomish in Pokemon Diamond.
1-You can trade one over from your Ruby, Sapphire or Emerald through migration.
2-You can find them in the safari zone. Head up to the telescope since you have the national dex and it'll display its location. (For me its in the first area)
3-Trade for one with a friend.

i found it in area 2. it changes daily so use the telescope on the top floor.

Dunno where to get it in Diamond, but if you have Ruby or Sapphire you can easily catch one and migrate it.
