I need to know the safe idling temperature range for Intel core 2 duo e6700

depends on a LOT of factors... idle temp isn't nearly as important as the temp under heavy load... I don't have a core2duo... so I can't say for sure, but in a well ventilated case I would say a good idle temperature is anywhere from 30C to 40C

It ranges from 37-70 degrees celcius...the cooler the better there is no real idle processor temp..processors do something call branch prediction where they are always thinking . it is just a low usage temp and called idle

Hi. Generally, the lower the better. As long as the temp under load is less then max spec you should be OK.

I like mine at around 30-32 cel.
