If you are homeless, from where are you using the Internet? And by the way, how are you paying your medical bills? Why are you sitting around Yahoo asking these questions when you should be addressing other issues? Anyway, if shelters are not an option then I guess you are SOL. Why should others help you find a place? That's up to you to do.

If you are homeless then you shouldn't have any rent anyways. I broke my ankle and sat behind a desk 12 hours a day. There are options out there you just have to not be lazy and look around. Beggars can't be choosers, go to a shelter and quit your complaining. Plus if you were homeless I don't think you would be on your computer answering questions about skin and beauty.(I saw your answers) Sell your computer for rent money.

Well, if shelters are not an option, how about seeking temporary assistance from a social service agency or a charity, such as Salvation Army ? If THOSE don't work for you and shelters are not an option, then your options are limited to sidewalks and under bridges.

Call the hospital that you were seen at when your ankle was diagnosed as broken. Ask to speak to their case worker or social services department. They might be able to help you or at least point you in the right direction. Good luck!
