I hope you mean "Earth."

Nope...There are "implications," but as far as we know, no hard evidence...Everything that suggests we've been "visited" is debatable, even though I believe there is a good possibility of it occurring in the distant past, and many strong arguments for the theory that the seeds of life originated from the "extraterrestrial..."

However, I believe that life, probably more advanced than us, is among the stars. Based purely on the KNOWN number of systems in our galaxy alone, we must assume that there are other planets capable of supporting life, and it would be OUTRAGEOUSLY conceited to think that we are the "first and most," intelligent creatures around...If they're out there, the same vastness that demands that they exist, increases the likelihood of us and them remaining ignorant of each other...

Everyone keeps talking about the supposed "significance" of there not being radio transmissions detectable as proof that we are alone...most of our technology was discovered by accident...why do people automatically assume that aliens would even USE radio wave communications? Because WE happen to?

Apparently not, unless someone has such proof and isn't telling the rest of us. If it were irrefutable and in the public discourse, then we'd be aware of it and believe it. We do not, therefore it doesn't exist or it exists but it is secret.

Of course those who wish to believe will simply assume that it exists and is kept secret. However, it's far more likely that irrefutable proof simply doesn't exist. It's very likely that no alien life has visited our planet, ever, given the lack of evidence for alien life in general, the vastness of space and the related unlikeliehood of anyone having any reason to examine our solar system closely enough to realize there's something interesting here to look at (with regard to life).

Well pardner, I am not sure what you consider as irrefutable proof...But there sure are a lot of unanswered questions floating about out there in chit chat land. Why there are even people that come in here to Yahoo Questions and Answers who don't think that we landed on the Moon just a little while back. Heck, those folks probably don't think that the Mars Rover is real either.

What I would do is carry a bright flash light with me everywhere I went. Alien life forms hate bright lights, and that will serve to protect you at all times. That is why we seldom see flying saucers in the daytime.

Not only is there no irrefutable proof, there isn't even any decent evidence. The thiings that would be most likely to occur in first contact between intelligent species of different worlds has never been documented. To imagine ETs being here without a clear radio signature would be like imagining downtown Manhattan during the busiest part of the day with no taxicabs and no horns honking.

i think of, with the vast volume of galaxies, suns and planets available, there is an possibility that alien existence does exist, quite. The question is: a million. do we ever are available in touch with alien existence types? (pondering the distances of area, we could are available in touch while faith would not have the capability and effect it has right this moment, or has been abolished thoroughly) and a couple of. How sensible are they? i will o.k. think of that new branches of religions will pop up, that contain those extraterrestrial beings, or possibly scripture would be interpreted in any different case to contain them (changing the meaning of the interpretation etc). Accepting them as equals although will in all probability basically be the case if those existence types tutor intelligence such as ours. in the event that they are actually not as developed as we are, even no count if it particularly is in simple terms quite, or in the event that they're very different of their habit, i think of religious human beings particularly group them in with different animals.

Yes, but the proof is locked away by our government. And anybody that tries to tell the truth, is either made out to be a fool, or they seem to just be eliminated. All the disbelievers are like sheep that are led around and never think for themselves.

No.
The closest thing we have is the meteorite from Mars, which contains "trails" that appear to be like those made by microorganisms.

Absolutely not. In fact we haven't even detected any life out there let alone having them visit us.

You can find plenty of evidence for it, but that's only because there's not much to dissprove it... It's not very easy to prove that something DOESN'T exist weheras it's easy to find reasons that something should exist.
