call the court or the sheriff's and ask, they won't bust you from the phone call. I have done it before for a friend of mine and asked them what he needed to do to take care of them and they were real cooperative.

I'm sure the police department will have a record of it. However, by identifying yourself, which you'll probably have to do, you could be in trouble if there is a warrant out. I would have someone else make the call.

Call the local law inforcement agency if you think its for a felony anybond or bail bondsmen in youre area and they can tell you
