I have arcrylic nails, and I use lotion 2-4 times a day, and double for solaroil on my cuticles, for some reason I still have a little dryness around my nails. What can I do to fix this?

Apply plain Chapstick around your fingernails - it will help seal in moisture & repel water.

Before going to bed - try applying vitamin E oil to your fingertips. It's thicker than Solar Oil.

One last tip - a moisturizing mask for your hands. Here's one recipe:
Soft, Smooth Hand Trick
This gently exfoliating scrub will make your hands noticeably softer and smoother.

In a small bowl, mash:
1/4 of a peeled avocado
1 egg white
2 tablespoons oatmeal
1 teaspoon lemon juice

Combine well and apply to your hands. Leave the mixture on for 20 minutes, then rinse in warm water and pat dry.

I think you could use this burt's bees thing. It's in the purple/move
color tube and it for "dry, cracked, nail cuticles" (that's what it said on the package) and it really works! My friend had this problem and she tried it and it works really well! :-D I hope your cuticles get better!

I hear soaking your nails/cuticles in olive oil works.
