There is no "Do" or "Don't" - it's 2007! We women do what we want!
MAC Sells this color currently. This color is used in the crease of the eyelid only. You would use a beige on the browbone to highlight the eye.
This nice dark blue would make your eyes look deeper set, and brighter!
Good luck!

Blue eyeshadow is OK but remember not everyone can wear it. It works best on women with fair skin and black or platinum hair color and brown or gray eyes, or on women with dark skin. You can wear it if your say blonde hair and blue eyes just refrain from matching it perfectly to your eye color. Blending is the key just use a professional look, and skip the black eyeliner because it makes the look too harsh. Keep the rest of your face light as well such a gloss on your lips.

If you don't have blue eyes, teal or navy blue will make them pop. A skinny line of light blue can work, too.
No sparkly or electric unless you are performing onstage or a discoteque.

DO, on some eyes, DON'T on others.
I have blueish green eyes and when I wear blue it brings out the blue and when I where green it brings out the green.
The color blue I wear is a dark blue, its by covergirl and its the one that makes your eye color POP out. I have the same for green. When you put it on your going to put the blue on the back crease of your eyelid not all the way up to your eye brow.

its a do... but not heavy and all over the place.. you have to know how to put such a dark color.. like black you cant just cover ur eyes with black.. usually a dark blue would go for an evening look so just dab it around the eye and add a coat of something like silver to blend it in

If you have to correct coloring, then go for it. But do not over-shadow your eyes. Only place it on the lid so that when your eyes are open you can't see the color. Also, go very light on the eyeliner and mascera, and do a very light lip, no gloss. Maybe a matte neutral color.

Sparkly, electric blue sounds way too opulent...try a softer color instead

If you are going to like a wedding or something, STAY AWAY. But if its like a disco party/halloween party, that eyeshadows sounds like it has a good shade.
Although unless you are a prostitute, that eyeshadow is a definiate NO in casual public outings.

It is PERFECT for every event! I love to use it day or night. For day, just play it down with a little white eyeshadow. But blue eyeshadow is so cool!
