I think denying the Holocaust as a whole is foolish, but I think it's just as foolish to silence people who question it. Many European countries make Holocaust denial a crime, which limits people's rights to free thought and free speech.

I think the details of the Holocaust are important, and denying people the right to question it really hurts us as a people. I would say, "How do you know 6 million Jews perished?" The facts might only support 3 million. (3 million is still a lot, but why can't we discuss the details?)

Hey, some people believe Bush is a good president.
Some people believe that Iraq had something to do with 9/11.
Some people believe there is less unemployment now than when Clinton was president.
Some people believe the Rangers play Major League Baseball.
Some people believe tax cuts create jobs.
Some people believe that Republicans are fiscally conservative.
Some people believe that we are in Iraq for some noble reason.
Some people believe that California's energy problems and fiscal problems were caused by Gray Davis, rather than by Enron and Bushco.

It takes all kinds.

I would agree that it is a bit absurd to deny that the Halocaust ever occurred. There would appear to be a significant amount of historical evidence to affirm that the Halocaust was in fact a real event. While the specifics like how many were killed, where they came from, etc. may be open to discussion, there is no doubt in my mind that the Halocaust did happen.

In a free society there is freedom of thought. This means that you can pretty much believe any nonsense you want. There are plenty of other wild ideas out there. Some prevalent examples are:

1. JFK was killed by the CIA
2. President Bush and/or Vice President Cheney planned 9/11
3. The moon landings were a fake
4. Aliens arrived at Roswell

I agree with you completely. We not only have news footage (that some people like to say is staged) We still have living survivors. We also have terrible reminders of the facts like the interment camps at Auschwitz. Excellent Question! But I bet you get some weird answers.
Dull john..that you would call them "whining" make me sick. You are completely insensitive, with zero compassion.

Go to Germany and visit some of the concentration camps. It'll bring you to tears and if it doesn't, you can't be human.

I've met Jews who still have tattoos.

No, anyone who tries to deny the truth, is misled and likely very young.

Head in the sand! How can anyone hate so much to deny such a horrible time in human history. It is almost unbelievable that man is capable of such atrocities.

Just like people say that the moon landing is a hoax, Bush caused 9/11 (9/11 was an inside job), and all those other conspiracy theories are just as idiotic.

Don't know, but I still think Stalin was more evil and the world would have been better served to join with Hitler to take out the Soviets and then we could have killed off Hitler when he wasn't expecting it.
