worked fine yesterday--went to garage this afternoon and it won't start. daash light are dim and you can here a clicking noise when you try to start. Sounds like a low battery to me but why? Nothing was left on and it was parked just like it has been over the past two years with no problems.

As of now battery is dead, bad side could be the alternator is not charging it. Get a jump start run for 20 minutes and see if that charges the battery. or after starting go to a place like advance auto and they will check it for free

Check the connections on the battery first, dumping a little coffee or cola on them will help with the corrosion build up. Make sure they are tight and making contact. Jump the battery with another vehicle and see if the car will start. If it starts it is probably your battery, if it will not recharge your battery, then it is probably an alternator, go to a NAPA and ask them to check it. Other than that, I can't think of anything else it could be.

Check your battery posts. Make sure they're tight and there's no corrosion. Also make sure any of the connections from the alternator are intact and not frayed.

Get it jumped and see what happens. If that doesn't solve your problem, either get it to a parts store where you can get the electrical system tested, or remove your battery and have that tested. If your battery is okay, your alternator is dead.

the car has alot of electrical components and if its hot in your area and the battery is 4 years old or older then it could be low due to heat. check to see if glove box is shut as well as the trunk

The battery probably just failed. That does happen when they get older they won't take a charge get a new one and you will probably be OK
