I would start with changing your diet slowly.
Avoid anything white (sugar, rice, flour & fast foods), eat organic when you can from all food groups & drink lots of water. If you don't like to exercise, what do you enjoy doing?
If you like to walk, swim or bike do that which you know, you will con't to do. Slowly your weight will drop off & your fat will be replaced by lean muscles, as you increase your metabolism.

I was lazy too and a smoker. I quit smoking and started walking. I didn't start out doing too much though. Just about half an hour walk each day around my neighborhood. I would slowly walk a little more each day. I also started eating healthier and sticking within 1200-1550 calories a day. I lost weight and after a couple months I was working out at the gym daily! Before you know it you will have way more energy than you ever thought was possible. If you need motivation you can go to www.sparkpeople.com There are many groups there dedicated to this. Also there is a food tracker if you want to see how much your really consuming. The average person should only consume 2500 calories but many consume around 3-5000 calories a day.

What ever you do your gonna have to start off slowly. Swimming is a nice gentle way to exercise every bit of your body. If your worried about going because of your size, most pools cater for this and have women only sessions. Just dancing around to your favourite music at home or a brisk ten minute walk a day all adds up. Good luck with both the exercise and the smoking.x

A useful exercise is the simplest to maintain. Some thing that you like to do that is also exercise is best.
Rowing a boat vigorously from fishing spot to fishing spot is excellent. Chopping wood, picking it up piece by piece is very good for the abs and back area.
Swinging a base ball bat and jogging to base. Also playing catch. If you have a yard with weeds weed your yard one at a time as you bend over per weed. Picking wild flowers.
Anything that gets you out combined with social games.
The most important thing is to do things that you do not think of as exercise and serves more than one purpose.
You may want to start off with going for walks with friends in the park, or some place with activity and good views of nature.

Windsor Pilate's. The buns and thigh workout you lay down for the whole thing and just move your legs. But start walking too outside it really does help with depression and after you get use to it it is really enjoyable. I use to smoke and I was in the military it shouldn't hold you back but it will add to your depression. Zyban helped me quit a year ago. Good luck. I will say a prayer for you.

It's got to be fun, and not considered "exercise". Try dancing or something, you'll have a laugh at the same time, and also learn a new talent!
