I love Mystic!! It is a great family place. The aquarium is one of the best in the country. Mystic Seaport has so much to see and is full of history. Then there is Mystic Village that has some terrific shopping, and good restaurants (haven't been to Mystic Pizza though).
If you live in CT you can usually get discount passes from your local library. There are some specials listed at http://www.mysticcountry.com/Attractions/? too.
It's definately worth seeing once in your life!

the appropriate place in Mystic is Abbott's Lobster in the tough, merely down the line in Noank on the river, yet, regrettably, they're closed for the season. different than that, attempt the Seamen's Inne this is right next to the West front to the Mystic Seaport. they have an invaluable pub section besides as upscale eating rooms and a few relatively exciting nutrition. And, of direction, there is often Mystic Pizza...yet i think of you should computer screen the action picture earlier you may consume there. ;)

Well, the movie Mystic Pizza was filmed there in the 80's, so that's something... or at least it was set there... You might be able to visit the pizza place they used.
