I'm not sure if it was a UFO, but I did see something strange in the sky earlier....at about 7.30 GMT, smallish object with 2 bright lights (too bright for any aircraft I know of) moving erratically across the sky and as I was watching them they just vanished.
This was on the south east coast of Ireland.

There goes the last piece of my sanity.

While I have never been entirely convinced that it was indeed a UFO, I once was out camping in the southern Utah desert and looked up at the sky around 3:00am one morning. I saw a object travel across the night sky, then change directions very abruptly. It could not have been an airplane or a satellite. i do not know or have an explanation of what it was.

yes....
I never imagined that someone would ask this question! Yay! Now i can tell my story. It was nearly the end of one fine day (April 17 2007) (around twilight) and i was walking home from the library. All of a sudden I began to feel dizzy. I look up and see a bright light in the sky. The light kept on coming closer until I could clearly see that it was a strange flying object. I wanted to run back to the library, although a part of me wanted to be abducted, but the library was closed and locked. I picked up my pace but the object seemed to keep up with me (even though i am an increadibly fast runner). Then I felt a peircing pain in my head and eyes and i blacked out. When gained conciounceness, I saw a short gray bald freak in front of me. I was like OMG! Then I felt a needle in my arm and I passed out again. When i woke up I was laying in the middle of the road. I quickly got up, narrowly missing being hit by a truck. After that I got home and decieded not to tell anypne about it. But I started having nightmares involing inhuman creatures. Thyey kept stabbing and poking me. I also found a large scar on my right leg when I returned as well as the back of my neck. I finnaly deciede to report it but no one belived me. Now I want to tell my tale, for fear of it happening to others.

YES. Me, my sister, brother, mom, and dad, were at a picnic 3 summers ago when it happened. I know about 50 people who can tell you i'm not lying. The first thing we started to notice was that it was getting darker outside, but it was only 12:00 in the afternoon. Next, we heard this odd buzzing noise, and then fast clicking followed that. Pretty soon this ENORMOUS (taller than a house) saucer-like thing (yeah, the famous saucer shape lol) was right above the trees. Then it started to get closer, and it was flashing red lights at us. Everyone just stood there becaue we didn't know what to do! About 20 seconds later it literally zoomed away sooo fast, like if you blinked you would have missed it. I have pictures saved in my camera of it... it still creeps me out to this day. I still get scared when i go outside at night for some reason. There is no doubt in my mind that there were life forms in that UFO, aliens if you want to call them that, but i still wonder why they came. It's scary if you think about it! A race so intelligent that they figured out how to communicate with us & actually transport themselves here. They are very advanced, and our brains probably can not even comprehend their society. It was an amazing experience but i sure as heII would not want to go through it again (I was only 9 years old at the time and thought they were going to abduct me or my family). Yes, i think you could have seen some type of UFO, and i want to continue to research all about them and stuff. very interesting!

I watched an object in the sky one afternoon for some ten minutes or so. It kept flashing black white black white. at first I couldn't tell how high it was till a low flying aircraft came by and was able to get the right perspective. It was about 1500 feet, and I realised that it was a piece of newspaper carried up on the heat rising from a local rubbish dump and balancing there on a column of hot air!!

I am a keen astronomer and spend a lot of time looking at the sky, so I have seem lot of ufos - objects in the sky that I could not identify! In fact, I've got a photo of one! But it takes a huge leap of logic to assume that it must be extraterrestrial in origin! Almost certainly an aircraft you saw!

Considering the distance of the nearest planets, I'd say the chances of a UFO are near zero. I'm not saying other beings don't exist. I'm only saying it would be very hard to travel such a distance. Even at the speed of light, it would take millons of years...

well, if it's moving erratically across the sky it was probably a weather balloon. The ones that cannot be explained are most likely classified government projects. Don't worry about it.
