I liked Karen Valentine as a teacher on "Room 222". I was just a kid then, but I had a crush on her (see link below).
I agree that Mohinder Suresh is the coolest current one, although he lost his teaching job. Isn't the math whiz in "Numb3rs" a teacher too? He's cool

there used to be an english show called Teachers and they were all really funny on that and Boston Public had some good characters as well...my favourite is Mohinder in heroes
