Another pregnant woman is missing in Ohio--anyone that honestly believes and rationalizes that this is the only way to get a baby DOES NOT DESERVE ANY BABY...this is happening so much lately, I am paranoid for anyone even THINKING about getting pregnant--anyone out their pregnant and scared?

I'm probably more cautious. I wouldn't answer my door to just anyone right now even if they looked well-adjusted and friendly. I'm 9 months pregnant so hearing things like this makes me very sad. I hope her two year old didn't see it.

I'm just hearing about this story. It's sad... I saw a report where the little boy told investigator's that "Mommy's in the rug..." and heard something about there being a whole bottle of bleach used in her bedroom? And amissing comforter. ::sighs:: This isn't looking good... doesn't sound to me like a crazed person trying to steal a baby... More like a jealous/enraged/crazy boyfriend/husband. Only positive is that the little boy is only 2 and is not likely to remember these details unless someone else makes sure he never forgets...

This is not happening all that frequently. Get a grip. The media always focuses on sensational stories. Yes, it does happen, but you should calm down. The acts are committed by mentally unstable people who are not in any way rational. Sometimes, the acts are committed by a husband (as we see in the Scott Petersen case). Be aware, but don't be hysterical.

Hmm...I don't think that pregnant kidnappings have hit the epidemic level.
Yes, you are being WAY too paranoid.
How many hundreds of thousands are pregnant right now?
How many have been kidnapped?
I'll bet that you have better odds of winning the lottery.

I can understand your anger and agree with you totally. Anyone who would do such a thing has some major psychological issues and needs to be put away.
