were are you from? I'm form Houston Texas and Ive lived in England for many years its very nice and quaint, i enjoy it, but i also go skiing in Italy and it is a very hard decision to make, i would choose Italy because of the fact that i live here =0

If your choice comes down to where am I going to get better food, then the choice is easy: ITALY!!!!
Not only is the food and wine better, but the Italians are so warm and friendly. You will LOVE Italy, but make sure you go to more places than just Rome!

I've been to both. Go to Italy. The food, the weather, the wine, the coffee, the friendly people, the amazing sites ...
England has pubs (ok, pub food and beer), crappy weather, no wine, tea (who wants tea?), aloof people, some interesting sites.
I would go to Italy again (been twice). I'd go to England again if I won a contest.

Hands down Italy. It's beautiful, plus the wine and food make that my choice (and dream vacation).
