I came close once.....I got 90 answers to a question....the question was "Last night I had __________? a couple of other times i have had close to 40 but never 100 or more....
4 weeks ago I asked if anyone had gotten more then 100 answers to a question and only 6 people responded..... :D

It's not likely. Most of the questions of "regular" people on here only get a short bit of time on the first page of questions. After that, unless someone just happens upon it, it's not likely to get answered. The "special" people who get their questions in the banner have their questions seen by just about everybody who visits the site at one time or another, so they get hundreds of answers as a result.

there is a chance, that a regular person will get hundreds of responses to their question.

There has been, many times. Last one got over 700, but it's always when Yahoo are on a break and there's no new questions for a hour or more

I don't know, I'm not a regular person and I haven't gotten a lot of answers to my most recent question either.

No...NEVER. I am a regular person, and when I ask a question, I only get a maximum of like 8 answers. U PPL R SAD.

I've done it before with another account. Ask a religious question that posits that there may be no God. Make sure its really deep and insightful. You will get MANY responses.

OH YA BABY!!! on ur Y!A profile, there is always a featured question from sumone famous like hillary clinton for exmple, they get over 10,000 answers!

sure....make flyers with you yahoo answers url and tell pass em out. tell people to go to your site to enrich their lives with your answers of knowledge and your questions of enrichment. tell them that you can show them the way to their own personal promised land. you could even write a song about your yahoo answers site and play it while passing out flyers. that will be a good star....you could also go an internet bar where they serve drinks and tell everyone in the bar youll buy em a drink if they go to your questions and answer. i would....
