Paul Potts - even if his name does sound like a crazy dictator.

Paul Potts was excellent, but ----------- should a singer really have been voted as best? Surely there are other programmes devoted to singers, and I don't think bottle jugglers, impressionists or ventriloquists would be welcome on such programmes.
Am I alone in thinking that the following series (there WILL be one) should exclude singers.
Before I get a torrent of abuse from fans of the two girl singers in the final, who were also great by the way, there needs to be a section in such as 'the X Factor' for the under 16's or even a separate competition.

Yeah, the monkey was hysterical. I thought my hubby was gonna have a stroke he laughed so much. I really liked the Bar Wizards and would have liked to see them win. Despite the fact that connie was very cute, I couldnt help but think of Lena Zavaroni. (yes Im that old! lol.) I dont do cute or bleeding heart stuff. The Opera singer was very good and won on his own merit. What a voice he has, even though Im not into opera.

I liked the Comedy Impresionist guy that had a father with Parkinsons
and i liked the freerunners coz they jumped of the balcony etc.
I hate the opera singer and all the other ones that got through except the 6 year old who is exceellent and the bar guys are ok but there was alot better...

Paul Potts may have a voice but hes got a miserable face and the charisma of a piece of stale cheese. What people don't know is that he spent 2 years in Italy having voice training so he had an advantage.

I think its a A very hard show to judge, if it were all dancing groups, all singers, all one man bands etc then it would be easy to say who the best contestant was, but with so many different categories I don't think anyone can honestly answer the question.

i voted for paul potts as he gave me goose pimples when he sang but that little girl connie was just soooooooooo cute, if u ask me they all deserved to play in the royal variety show because every act in the final were really good and had lots of variety to offer :)

Yeah I also thought it was something like that, that needed to win and bring a bit of fun to the Royal Variety Performance.

It was something that you dont see very often.
