Sometimes when I close my eyes and really focus on relaxing and clearing my mind, I start to feel my body vibrating, and it's like energy is going through your body, like you're about to be carried out of your body.

It's so odd, I don't believe in psychic abilities and all that stuff, just wondering if there's a reason that has been discovered for this yet, or if anyone else experiences this.

Anyone can experience what you have. You fall into a different state of consciousness between sleep and being awake called a meditative state. You focus on a clear mind and things happening in your body get your mind clearing focus away . Meditation is a great way to relax, and rest for short periods of time. There are different methods of meditation, such as yoga and breathing exercises. If you enjoy meditating check search engines and try some different methods maybe you'll run into something you enjoy even more than your own methods. You cause the meditative state by your focus.

Sorry you dont believe in para normal. Why don't you research Astral Travel. When we only use 10% of human brain on an average and people who can do more don't believe it is sad. I call it a vibrational state when I am open to all my senses. It is that time when I really connect to whatever power it is. I see things that I usually can verify later, It helps me find solutions, I also just enjoy the feeling. The experience is very simular to what I read about Astral Projection. So thats what I accept that it is.

i feel a really quick pulsing movement in my whole body. the first time i thought my heart was racing so fast that it was going to blow up, but i checked my pulse and it was normal, even though there was still this rapid pulsing i could feel in my body. I only feel it when i'm going to sleep or waking up - usually when i wake up, but its so obvious sometimes and i can keep the awareness of it around for a while until i start doing other things like take a shower, get ready for the day etc.
i've never talked to anyone about it but i know that it doesn't mean there's anything wrong with me. nice to hear someone else has similar feelings!

What this is ( and it is not a "Psychic" anything...) is you're Chi (chee, not kai). The current of energy that connects you to that same current that is driving all of exsistence. Relax, explore this feeling, gain control of your energy flowes, and you'll find a new level of control over your life. And from the sound of it (your body starting to vibrate without any direction from you...) you're VERY energetic; you should take up KungFu...seriously

I'll also add that the earth itself has much energy in it. Especially the core. The earth vibrates at a certain frequency that is lower than others, you may be feeling that.

There's an electromagnetic current running through our bodies all the time. Most people don't realize how much electricity the average person generates. Some have more than others -like some people who cause radio signals to get fuzzy or TV reception to be weird. It's scientific and normal.

You're young. As you get to know your body better you will discover the reasons for these sensations. There are NO heroes.

Buddhists would say you're calming your "monkey mind", that is, stopping all the chatter so your mind can really quiet itself, which doesn't even happen in sleep (due to dreams.) That's a powerful thing, and you're probably feeling it......

Every atom in your body is in constant yet random motion. You must be very gifted at clearing your mind to be able to sense this motion.

I suggest you read "The Celestine Prophecy" by James Redfield. Great book!
