I would like to throw something into the group here... I know normal standards and ethics are fine in most situations. I just wonder if we have restricted loving eachother just a little too much. I am all for age restrictions for children, but why are there so many people who cheat? not the sleezbags cheaters I talk about, but the lovingly married people who just need or want more... it is absolutely undiscussable in our society... why do so many people feel the need to be the "absolute only one" ??? why is sharing love with others ruining lives? when love is such a good feeling? war is way more destructive I would argue and if we would only accept the fact that every now and again you see a person with whom you could share some heartfelt love... then why not??? I want some serious answers here please?

the only reason i can think of "why not" is if there is dishonesty involved & seems like inevitable jealousy. take a good look at polygamy, most of the women are not happy, not fulfilled. i dont know what the answer is, but i agree that what we are doing is not working - just look at the divorce rate. (not judging here, i'm divorced too)

Everyone is good for something.

Some are good for loving forever, some are good for the moment.

You seem to be talking about a married couple taking a break and getting out in the world? Then maybe coming back together.

I just find it uncomfortable. You could call em posessive, but I would not want another guy to lay a hand on my girl in any way other than as friends.
But that is generally physical.

If you are talking more emotional, like why can't a married couple, or a close couple, have other people on retainer for situations, I completely agree. No matter what, I always have friends and what not good for other things. Some for talking, touching, holding, whatever. Each is good for something.

But back to physical. To truelly have heartfelt love, you need someoen special. Getting out and wanderign about does not and cannot give anyone a true feeling of love. Just lust and want.
