His talent in baseball presented him with his initial introduction to harness racing. He took his early lessons from Bill Wellwood. Wallace was a former instructor at Seneca College’s Harness Horse Industry Program and has been in the top ten percent of OJC trainers for the past seven years. He eclipsed the million dollar marker in both 1997 and 1998 thanks in large part to Ontario Sires Stakes star, Armbro Rosebud who was voted Canada’s Two-Year-Old Pacing Filly of the Year in 1997. Matt On The Rocks, Hogans Heroes and Bando Nikki to name a few, have all performed well from the Wallace shedrow.
