It may not be at this exact moment, depending on the size of your fish at the present time, but it soon will be.

The pacu alone get 3-4 feet long.

Is this a joke? Iridesent sharks can get up to 3 feet long. They ususly get to about 2 feet captivity. Just one would need a 125g tank. 2 would need 250g. Pacus get to be about 3. For one you need atleat a 300g tank. Since you have 2 you would need 600g. So far you are up to 850g. Birchir also get 2.5-3 ft so add 250g. Now you are up to 1100g. Do you have 14 striped cat fish or 1 4in striped catfis? Im just going to assume you have 1. Its another 3 foot fish so you need another 300g. Your up to 1400g now. The Bala is other 3 footer. Your up to 1700g now. You need about 80g for the ghost knife. You need a total of 1780g. I really hope this is a joke.

If your not allready you need to be testing for Ph, nitrites, and nitrates. Also you should be performing massive weekly water changes.

If you took all your fish and made them adults overnight, you would require a 300 gallon tank to keep them. They might be fine for now, but they were poor choices for your size of tank. I know big fish seem cool and all, but isn't it nicer to provide a paradise for little fish rather then a broom closet for larger?

And once again we hearthis stupid inch per gallon rule. Go ahead and put a 24" Pacu into a 24 gallon tank and see where it gets you. People also have the option of using common sense, experience, and smarts to stock their tanks, instead of 'rules' that can't possibly apply to every fish, every tank, or every person.

A general rule of thumb is to see how many inches of fish you have total, and that should not exceed the size of your tank. So you measure the fish from the base (not including the tail) to the head. so if you have 10 fish, in a 55 gallon tank, each fish can be about 5-5 1/2 inches long. and id say 60 inches is in a 55 gallon tank is high and should be controlled.

OH YA. Why do people not care about the fish? Instead they stock it so full, the fish are unhappy and cramped
