when people asks the meaning of life, what is that 42 mean??

in my opinion it means that the meaning of life is different for everyone. we all see things differently. some people devote their life to good, to heal the sick. some seek revenge. others, like myself, think that it's all about enjoying it. i had always wondered the meaning of life until the alien said that answer, 42. right away i understood that everyone is completely different with their own set of beliefs, morals and thoughts. that answer was absurd and did not mean anything really but as soon as he says it, you know, it is HIS unique thought on the subject. anything that he would have said, you would understand that it is HIS own thought and not question it
