Put your baby's name to the middle school test. You want something that is distinguished, but not so unusual that it will hurt rather than help your child. James and Patrick are fine, but everyone will have trouble spelling "Trevonte" correctly as well as remembering it. You might try something like Trevor (94), Tristan (109), Tanner (117), or Ty (205).* I like James Ty Patrick.

The name sounds great. James is a great first name choice but I would spell it the right way. In all honesty spelling it that way may seem good now because of its originality but after the child is born it will be a source of stereotyping and discrimination. I love the middle name. I'm keen to names with the long "a" sound in it. Trevonte sounds alot like Jevonte which is a name I would consider giving a son of mine. I'm not sure if Patrick is your surname or another middle name. Either way its a great addition to the rest of the name because it takes the name back to a more traditional sound. James and Patrick are classic names that will be respected by just about anyone while Trevonte adds a more ethnic sound that makes his name different than say somebody else named James or Patrick.
If this is a name that you are planning on giving your child, its a great choice and Good luck to you.

Really like it. Except for that z that's kinda weird. I think the name has enough uniqueness with Trevonte, so u can keep James normal.

What about James Dionte, or James Deondre?

For my own sanity, I'll assume that that z at the end of James is a typo and then I'll tell you that I love the name James. It is strong, classic and will serve him well.

Dalice, I hope so, too, because the way it's spelled now looks like jam-ez, instead of jamz (one syllable, with a long 'a').

James is a great name. Jamez is not. Trevonte is awful.
