Okay, here's a starting point: Boys who don't like their names usually say they wish they had more "regular" names. This is about 2 to 1. Girls who don't like their names wish they had something more unusual, by--guess what!--2 to 1. So for the boy's names, stay away from strange spellings (Treva) or very odd names (like Pirate). The only problem with Avery is that--as you obviously realize--it is not strictly male or female. That can be problem later in life, but the name itself is perfectly okay, in my opinon.

The girl's names are a mixed bag. Avery has the issue I mentioned above. Delilah has slutty connections (remember Samson and Delilah?). Leahtine sounds a bit like "libertine" but is otherwise okay. Moira is a pretty name, I think, and Maeve is fine, but more common in Britain than the US or Canada. Since girls prefer uncommon names, that could be an advantage or a disadvantage.

I hope this helps. Good luck!!

The girl's names are all reasonable. I'm not personally keen to Maeve, Moira or Leahtine but it wouldn't be a tragedy if you were to name your daughter that. The best on your list are Avery Jeanette and Delilah Sky. They sound the best and aren't too off the wall original. Avery is a good choice for a name because its multigender and truly is fitting for either a boy or a girl.
Out of the boys names Avery William is the best. Its cute and is a good mix of whats new and trendy with what is timeless and traditional. I would not personally use the other two names. Seriously, do not name your kid Pirate.
Good luck.

I don't even know how to pronounce Maeve or Leahtine. If more than five people can't pronounce the name, it is a bad idea.

People will continuously add the R on Treva.
Pirate is ridiculous.
How about Avery Jean or Moira Jean or Delilah Skye?
I don't really care for Avery as a boys name. Love William.

Remember, that this is the name your child will have to learn to spell in school.

I like Avery for the Girl more than a boy. It's nice.

Not sure what the last names is, but the boys, other than Avery are definitly out there a bit. Pirate would get the kid ridiculed, plus the meaning of pirate isn't very nice. Robbing someone or stealing someones copyright. Treva is a strech. What about Trey.

Hi, well i think that your baby's names list is very original. From the baby girl i like the name Delilah Sky, and from the baby boy i chose Avery Wiliam or Pirate, this name (Pirate) is very unusual and original and rigth now every thing seens to turn around the pirats. But i'm afraid that if the boy ends with this name, when he grow up his school bodys will make jokes about it. For that reason I'll pick better Avery williams. I hope my answer help you. Bye, and good Luck!

DO NOT name your kid Pirate. He will get beat up every day. I think Avery William is pretty for a boy. Or Avery for a girl would be good too. As well as Maeve.

Out of your list of girls names, I really like Delilah. (great song). I would choose Delilah Jeanette. Avery Jeanette is alright (would be better spelled Averie for a girl), the rest I would say no way.

The only one I like on your boys list is Avery William. Treva sounds like someone is trying to say Trevor and can't pronounce his r's. Pirate isn't a good choice...imaging having to grow up and find a career with that name!
